Parker 4, Selma 2: Richardson strikes out 13 to lead Parker to victory

Senior righthander Rodney Richardson struck out 13 batters as Parker downed Selma 4-2 in a game played at Wilcox Central.

Richardson (2-0) pitched a complete game and gave up five hits and two earned runs.

Jacob Byrd led Parker (13-4) with a double, single, two runs scored and two RBIs. He also had five stolen bases in the game. Isom Ford had a double and two singles in three trips to the plate for the Thundering Herd.

Marquell Moorer had a double and single and one run scored in four at-bats for Selma.
