Cullman 62, Parker 46: Brontae Harris makes six 3-pointers to lead Bearcats to Steel City Invitational win

HOMEWOOD, Alabama — Brontae Harris had no trouble shooting at Pete Hanna Center.

Despite the bigger arena and different sightlines, Harris made 6-of-8 3-pointers and 7-of-8 from the free throw line and scored a game-high 25 points to lead Cullmanto a 62-46 victory over Parker in the opening round of the Steel City Invitational at Samford University.

Lawson Schaffer added 12 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and three steals for Cullman.

Josh Chairs led Parker with 10 points.

Cullman outrebounded Parker 34-29 and had 14 assists on 18 made shots.

Cullman plays the winner of tonight’s Mountain Brook vs. Midfield matchup in Saturday’s quarterfinals. Tip-off is set for 12:30 p.m. at Pete Hanna Center.
